Q_ How much is the rate for a cabin rental ?
A_ The total cost for renting a cabin it’s the result of the sum of these two amounts:
1. $1400.00 pesos per cabin per night (this amount covers the cabin rental).
This amount could be less depending on the day of your visit. Check our 2017 ADMISSION PRICES CALENDAR.
2. $370.00 pesos per person per night (this amount covers the campground admission fee)

3. 3. Additionally, you will be asked to leave a $200.00 pesos deposit for the cabin key. This amount will be refunded to you upon check out (11:59AM of the very last day that you’re planning to stay in the cabin)
Q_ How many persons are allowed to stay in a cabin ?
A_ Our cabins are designed to allow 6 people maximum inside the cabin.
Q_ How do I make a reservation for a cabin ?
A_ If you want to make a reservation for a cabin you just have to follow these 5 steps:
Step 1: Call the number 01(646) 153.1055 Ext. 0 or from USA 011 52 (646) 153.1055 Ext. 0 between 9:00am and 6:00 Pacific Time.
Step 2: Tell to the operator you are calling to make a cabin reservation. The operator will ask you for the following information:
Expected arrival date
Number of nights you’ll be staying in the cabin,
Your Full Name
Phone number
E-mail address.
Step 3: You can choose to pay for your reservation using your credit card at the moment of your call or you can make a deposit to the following bank account to cover the full amount of your reservation:

Step 4: Once you’ve made your deposit you will have to send us a copy of your deposit ticket to our fax number 01 (646) 153.1055 ext. 102 or to our e-mail info@lascanadas.com including your full name, phone number and your expected arrival date and number of nights that you are reserving the cabin for in order to confirm your reservation.
Step 5: Once you’ve sent the fax or e-mail, you will have to call us to confirm if we received your payment and then we will send you confirmation e-mail.
If you paid with credit card at the moment of your first call, then the confirmation E-mail will be sent to you right away and you don’t have to do anything else.
NOTE: If you’re planning to make a cabin reservation for Easter Weekend, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, Labor Day weekend or any Weekend of July or August, we suggest you make your reservation at least 4 weeks in advance in order to increase your possibilities of finding an available cabin.
Q_ What time is the Check In/Check Out time for the cabins ?
A_ Cabin Check In time is at 2.00 PM. However you can arrive at the campground any time after 7:30 AM, enjoy the many activities we have and then we’ll give you the key at 2:00 PM.
The same way your Check out Time is at 11:59 AM of the very last day you rented the cabin for, but you can stay in the campground until 6:00 PM of that day.
Q_ What options do I have to make the payment for a cabin reservation ?
A_ You can use any Visa or MasterCard, or you can make a Bank Deposit or an Electronic Transfer.
Q_ Can I make a cabin reservation via the Internet ?
Currently, cabin reservations can only be made via E-mail or Phone Call, but we’re currently working in order to be able to provide the reservations via the Internet in the future.
Q_ What’s inside in one of your cabins ?
A_ Our cabins have inside only the basic furniture to assure you a comfortable stay in the campground,
• Shower with Hot Water (no towels),
• Toilet, Sink and a Mirror,
• Water and Electricity,
• Kitchen Countertop with Sink. (Doesn’t have stove nor refrigerator),
• Two bunk beds and a Futon (Doesn’t have any blankets or pillows,)
• Porch with panoramic view of the entire campground,
• BBQ Grill, Outdoor Camping Table and Parking Space for one car,
• Capacity for 6 persons maximum.
Q_ How many cabins are in the Campground ?
A_ We only have 20 cabins for now.
Q_ Are pets allowed inside the cabins ?
A_ Due to health and hygiene regulations, pets are not allowed inside the cabins. Consider that after you use the cabins there will be other families using the cabins as well and even though we try our best to make sure cabins are always clean and in the best possible conditions, there is always the possibility that pets leave stains. We suggest you bring your pet cages with you and let the pets stay inside the cages if you want them inside the cabin.
ADMISSION PRICES AND DISCOUNTS
Q_ From what age and up do the children need to pay for a Ticket to enter the Campground ?
A_ Our admission prices for children are not based on their age but on their height. Therefore children who are less than 40 inches tall are in for free if they come with their parents.
Q_ Do you offer special rates for school groups or religious groups ?
A_ Yes we do offer special rates for school groups, religious groups, and many other types of groups. Q_ What type of promotions do you have?
A_ All year round we have special rates and promotions (see our DISCOUNTS CALENDAR 2017) and for those who like camping we offer a permanent special:
3 x 2, you just have to ask for it upon your arrival at the campground and if you pay a 2 night stay we’ll give you a third night for free.
Q_ How big a group needs to be in order to be eligible for special admission rates ?
A_ In order to be eligible for special admission rates, groups do not depend on the number of persons that compose that Group, but on other factors such as: if the group will stay only for the day or will they stay for camping, what kind of services will the group need, will the group need any cabins, etc. We suggest that if you are a group coordinator you contact us at 01 (646) 153.1055 or from the US dial 011 52 (646) 153.1055 and we’ll give you more details.
GENERAL SERVICES
Q_ Is there a Restaurant inside the Campground ?
A_ Currently we do not have a restaurant inside the Campground, but we do have some very good food options such as: Mexican Food Stand, Sea Food Cocktails Stand, Fish Tacos Stand, and Mixed Fruit Cocktails Stand, all of them set up in different vending points.
Q_ Is there a place where I can take a shower ?
A_ We do have several restroom modules distributed all over the campground, all of them include showers with hot water and dressing spaces which are in service 24 hours a day.
Q_ Which facilities and services have an additional cost inside the Campground ?
A_ Only ATV’s Rental, the Canopy Tour and the Horseback Riding Tour are the services that are not included in your admission ticket and have an additional cost inside the campground.
Q_ What does my admission ticket include ?
A_ Your admission ticket gives you the right to use:
• Two swimming pools (one with a diving board and one with waterfalls/waterslides)
• The Children aquatic zone more widely known as our “Pirate’s Cove” with more than 23 water slides and water features.
• All our sports facilities (Outdoor Soccer Areas, Basketball Court, and 2 Beach Volleyball Areas)
• Restrooms, Showers and Dressing Rooms.
• BBQ Grills, Camping Tables, Electricity and water for your campsite, and Palapas.
• ATV’s Track.
• Visit to our Mini-Farm
• Lake where you can practice Sport Fishing or use the Paddle Boats.
Q_ Is the swimming pool’s water heated ?
A_ No, we do not heat the water of our swimming pools.
However we have a very nice weather here in the summer, so heating the water is not necessary.
Q_ Do I have to pay anything extra to use the Paddle Boats ?
A_ No you do not have to pay anything extra to use the Paddle Boats. This service is already included with your admission ticket. You can use the Paddle Boats for a 30 minute period if there are any other visitors waiting to use the boats. If there is no waiting line to use the Paddle Boats you can use them for as long as you want while they’re in service.
Q_ Can we bring our own beer or there is place where we can buy beer in the Campground ?
A_ You can bring your own beer if you like to do so, but if you want to save some space in your trunk we do have a Market where you can buy cold beer to go.
Q_ Do you have Horses for Rental ?
A_ Yes we have a Horseback Guided Tour that takes you all the way to the “Echo View Point Terrace”. The tour lasts about an hour and you’ll get to enjoy amazing panoramic views of the campground, the lake and the mountain.
Q_ Is there a public Wi-Fi network in the Campground ?
A_ Yes there is, but it doesn’t cover the entire campground. Instead we have distributed 8 Hotspots throughout the campground each of them covering a ratio of approximately 250 feet around it. So you’ll have to find the nearest hotspot in order to access our Wi-Fi net.
Q_ How deep is the Children’s Aquatic Zone (Pirate’s Cove) ?
A_ It is 45 centimeters deep ( 18 inches )
Q_ What activities are available at nighttime ?
A_ In Las Cañadas Campground the fun does not end with the nightfall. All of our swimming pools including the Children’s Aquatic Zone (Pirate’s Cove) are lit from under the water and all of them are open until 11:59 PM.
During the summer season there is a DJ playing some good music in a three level dance floor for all those who want to dance and have fun. Also the Lake is lit from above and the Paddle Boats are open until 10:00 PM.
On Saturday nights during the summer season we offer a Canopy Tour at night in which you will feel the sensation of flying in pitch-black darkness.
As part of the night events offered to our guests, all Saturdays of July and August we have live music concerts on a stage which is set up to be ready for you and your family to just bring your camping chairs or blankets, pick a spot and enjoy the concert. ( Check our 2014 EVENTS CALENDAR to know which dates we will be having live music this year and also the type of music that we will be having. )
Q_ What other activities are offered besides the swimming pools ?
A_ There are sport areas to play soccer and volleyball, a Basketball Court, Paddle Boats, Sport Fishing, Mountain Bike Trails, an ATV’s Track, ATV Rental, Water-Slides, Eco-Tourism Tours, The Canopy Tour, The Horseback Riding Tour and many other activities that will make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.
Q_ Can I rent a tent in the Campground or do I have to bring my own ?
A_ Currently we do not offer Tent Rental Service, but we do have tents for sale in both of our Market Stores.
Q_ Can I bring my pets with me to the Campground ?
A_ Pets are allowed in the Campground, but you will be asked to have it on a leash at all times. And you will also be responsible to clean up any wastes that your pet leaves. More important you will be fully responsible if your pet bothers or attacks other guests inside the Campground.
Q_ Until what time is the Entrance to the campground open ?
A_ The Entrance is open from 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM. After this time, access to the campground is restricted until the next day.
Q_ Is it safe to camp in Las Cañadas Campground ?
A_ Las Cañadas Campground is a very safe place to camp for you and your family.
We have 24 hours security all year round.
Q_ Can we reserve a spot to set up our campsite ?
A_ Spot reservations for setting up campsites are not allowed in the Campground.
Everyone has the right to choose any spot you like to set up your campsite at the moment of your arrival.
Q_ Are Bonfires allowed in the Campground ?
A_ Yes Bonfires are allowed in the campground, but you must be sure that you don’t set your fire on the grass areas. Bonfires on the grass are strictly forbidden.
Q_ Can I bring any Fireworks ?
A_ Yes, fireworks are allowed in the Campground but you must only use them in our designated area for fireworks.
Once you arrive at the campground, ask any member of our staff where the designated area for fireworks is located.
You also need to remember that fireworks are not allowed after 11:30 PM.
Q_ Can I bring my BB Rifle (Air guns) ?
A_ For security reasons, BB Rifles and/or Air Guns are not allowed into the Campground.
Q_ Can I set up my campsite next to one of the cabins ?
A_. Unfortunately campsites are not allowed next to the cabins.
We reserve the space between cabins to assure more privacy for our guests.
However we have grass areas very close to our cabins where you can set up your campsite if you want to be close to one of the cabins.
Q_ Do I need to make a reservation to camp in Las Cañadas Campground ?
A_ You don’t need to make a reservation to camp with us. You can just pick a spot wherever you like the most and set up your campsite once you arrive at the campground. Reservations are required only for Cabin Rentals.
Q_ Until what time can I have the music on in my campsite ?
A_ Music and any loud noises in campsites are allowed only until midnight (12:00 AM) Remember that there are other guests near your campsite that may be sleeping after midnight.
CANOPY TOUR
Q_ What is the Canopy Tour ?
A_ The Canopy Tour in Las Cañadas is an aerial tour done in the middle of mountains and over a lake. It is done through 5 Zip Lines, each one with different heights and lengths. The tour also includes 5 Conceptual Hanging Bridges, each one offering a different challenge and difficulty level to cross it.
Q_ How much is it to take the Canopy Tour ?
A_ The regular price for taking the Canopy Tour is $500.00 pesos, but don’t worry for the price, because all year long we have great promotions that will give you the opportunity to experience our Canopy Tour for much less than that. See our 2017 PRICE CALENDAR to see the Canopy Tour price for a specific date.
Q_ What is the maximum weight allowed for a person to be able to take the Canopy Tour ?
A_ There is no weight limit to take the Canopy Tour as long as you can fit the safety harness.
Q_ What is the minimum age allowed for a person to take the Canopy Tour ?
A_ To take the Canopy Tour does not depend on the person’s age but on the person’s height. A person needs to be at least 55 inches tall to be able to take the Canopy Tour.
If you’re shorter than this, you can still take the Canopy Tour, you will be able to use all 5 Zip Lines but will have to skip most of the hanging bridges.
Q_ Is the Canopy Tour Safe ?
A_ The Canopy Tour in Las Cañadas Campground is totally safe. The safety equipment used in our Canopy Tour is one of the safest equipment manufactured worldwide for this type of sport. In addition, our Tour Guides are highly trained to guarantee that your ride in the Canopy Tour will be safe and fun.
Q_ What is the maximum weight supported by the safety equipment used in the Canopy Tour ?
A_ If you weight less than 3,000 pounds, don’t even worry about the safety Equipment Capacities.
Q_ What are the physical requirements for a person in order to be able to take the Canopy Tour ?
A_ You should be at least 55 inches tall, weight at least 90 pounds, wear comfortable clothing an shoes (ladies please do not wear skirts) and be a physical healthy person. If you suffer any Cardiac problems, or have any Back or neck problems or if you are pregnant you are not in the optimal conditions to take the Canopy Tour.
Q_ Which days do you offer the Canopy Tours at night ?
A_ Every Saturday of July and August. There are some Fridays of these two months that we offer the Canopy Tours at night but it’s not for sure, it will depend of the demand of our guests.
Q_ How is the Canopy Tour at night different from the Canopy Tour during the day ?
A_ It is the same tour offered during the day, but we add a head lamp to your helmet and you will experience the sensation of flying in the middle of pitch black darkness, enjoying the view of lights and bonfires of all the campsites from above.
Q_ Can we bring our cameras and take Pictures during the Canopy Tour ?
A_ Yes you can bring your camera to take pictures during the Canopy Tour but you need to bring it with a cord that will secure the camera to your neck. For security reasons, this is the only way you will be allowed to take the camera with you
