What is a Tepee?

A Tepee is a conical shaped tent used by the tribes of Sioux Indians who belonged to the northern regions of America many decades ago.
In their original version the Tepee were made of buffalo skin and painted with vegetable colors.
They are built very strong to resist the winds, during the winter they remain warm on the inside and during the summer they remain cool on the outside.

Why would you want to stay in a Teppe?

- Because it offers to the entire family a very unique experience.
- The children get to sleep as the Sioux Indians used to.
- In its outside graphics you’ll find graphic representations that evoke the great diversity of native fauna that exists in the region, such as Puma, Eagle, Rattlesnake, Tortoises, bighorn sheep, plus the recreation of Rock paintings which definitely adds a unique approach to education and experience.
- There is no other place in Baja that offers this kind of experience.

A TEPEE IN LAS CAÑADAS INCLUDES:

- Parking for one car.
- One grill. (outside the tepee)
- One camping table (outside the tepee)
- Mattreses for 4 or 6 People depending on the tepee.

Check In Time: 2:00 PM.
Check Out Time: 12:00 PM.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Bring along with you towels, blankets and pillows as these items are not contemplated in the Tepee concept.
Our mission is to promote camping within a family and friendly environment, therefore we reserve the right to refuse the rent of a tepee to groups of teenagers.
